Ill Nino Drummer due to miss 4 European Shows

"Dave Chavarri" Drummer of New York's Ill Nino will be forced to miss four shows on the band's current European tour due to a "family emergency." He is being temporarily replaced by Matt Alston, who plays in a band called Sanctorum and is also Dave's tech.

Dave: "I'm very sad that I will not attend the upcoming four Ill Nino Euro shows. These are the only four shows I have ever missed since the beginning of Ill Nino. This is all very unexpected, but I need to be there for my family, and hope everyone understands... Our dear friend Matt will be filling in for these shows. He was my first choice and I know he will kick ass! Matt has been my drum tech for close to four years, so who better than him to fill in?! Thanks, Matt, thanks to my bros in Ill Nino, and thanks to all Ill Nino fans for understanding... See you all soon."

The band recently entered the studio to begin recording their sixth full-length album. The recording sessions took place in Hoboken, New Jersey; Austin, Texas; and Denver, Colorado. The album is due for a summer release via Victory Records.
